A Kit Doing What Kits Do~

Icekit bounced out of the nursery, his icy blue eyes shining in the moonlight. He let out a happy little jump, as he had successfuly gotten past all the kits and got outside for once.
Icekit stared in excitement at the moon. Since he got out of the camp one little time, he wasn't allowed to go outside of the nursery, so this was the first time in awhile he had been able to see the bright moon, sitting in an array of stars that lit up all directions.
The kit stopped in his glee and looked around. If the leader, or just anyone saw him, they'd tell him to go back in.
"I don't wanna go back in there," he muttered darkly to himself, proceeding to pad forward, trying to look for someplace to squeeze in and watch the moon where he wouldn't be seen.

Emberblaze sat silently in the clearing of the SkyClan camp, a rare event to be seen in eyes of the clan, as their deputy almost never sat alone as he was now, staring solemnly into the sky above while he remained silent, as he was often snapping and throwing sarcastic comments into numerous conversations, or in deep slumber. They all knew Emberblaze didn't mean most of what he said, though it wasn't in a constructive practice for the rude behavior to continue. Emberblaze had grown up being very defensive and rather despised, and he had grown accustomed to the defense mechanism that rose whenever conversation had arisen.

They all accepted it and respected him regardless, him having proved his worth at the battle prior to his deputy ceremony, and they all saw his compassion, as little of it as there was.

He flicked his ear as he rested his head on his paws, staring off into the dens of sleeping clanmates surrounding him.

Out of the corner of his eyes, he spotted a kit, just exiting the nursery, sneaking on his tiny paws. He nearly chuckled, did he really think that stomping was going to earn him any privacy? Then it came to him, this was the kit that had escaped camp, the one that was confined to the nursery as punishment. He stretched silently, approaching the kitten, Icekit if his memory served correctly.

"There's a bright moon out tonight." He said, his low voice echoing softly against the walls. "This moon is the same one that was out when you busted your little cage, isn't it?" He asked, letting his fur flatten.

Icekit spun around, his fur bristling and his eyes full of shock. He scowled as he back away. "Er... no...? Maybe?"
He looked up at the deputy, his legs shaking fiercly, his once bright eyes dimming. "Don't make me go back!" he pleaded, trying to keep his body from shaking. "I don't wanna go back in the nursery!"

He chuckled, a deep mocking laugh that was intentionally creepy. He flicked his ear, smiling. "Of course you have to, those are the rules after all. And everyone knows the deputy enforces the rules, we just can't let this slip." He replied.

"Well, of course we can!" Icekit meowed coolly, trying not to be the slightest bit creeped out at this deputy's evil chuckle. "I've followed the rules and sat in that nursery for ages," the little kit protested.
He started to take another pawstep back, prepared to slip away if this cat wouldn't cooperate.
"Now, I'll just go and watch the moon... and be back in the nursery by morning!" Icekit smiled weirdly, hoping the deputy would buy it.

Nightstar padded up to her deputy and the small kit. "I've heard you, little one." she mewed. Her gaze on the kit. "You need your sleep." she spoke, and continued. "If you want to be an apprentice, of coarse." she purred.

Streamkit went tumbling out of the nursery with a plop to the ground.Wah!She let out a small Sqweak.I couldn't sleep so I came out here to.She mewled quickly to Nightstar and EmberBlaze.Please don't send me back!I won't get any sleep anyways she complained.

Nightstar looked at Streamkit, and shook her head. "Sorry, I can't do anything to help with that. You need to go back." she mewed. "I'm sorry, but you have to." she said.

Ok,I'll go back,but I won't get any sleep!She mewed.
